The following notes give a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website (https://fi-automation.space). Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified.

This website is operated without tracking, without advertising cookies, and without third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar). No personal data is shared with advertising or analytics platforms.

This website is hosted by an external service provider (TODO: enter hosting provider, e.g. Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you call the page, technically necessary information is transferred from the browser to the server and stored in server log files:

• IP address
• Date and time of the request
• requested URL
• Referrer URL
• browser, operating system, and its language

Processing is carried out to fulfil the usage relationship and to ensure stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, legitimate interest in a technically error-free presentation). Logs are deleted or anonymised after a maximum of 30 days unless they are needed longer to investigate a security incident.

No cookies or similar storage mechanisms are set for tracking purposes. The website uses only technically necessary browser features (e.g. the operating-system setting prefers-reduced-motion and navigator.connection.effectiveType) to render animations economically. Nothing is stored in that process. The optional NEXT_LOCALE language preference is a technically necessary cookie set only after an explicit language choice.

If you use the contact form on this page or the stated email address, the data you submit (name, email address, message content) is stored to process the enquiry and any follow-up questions. I do not pass this data on without your consent.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient handling of the enquiry). The submitted data remains with me until you request deletion or the purpose ceases - usually after the conversation ends. Mandatory statutory retention periods, in particular commercial and tax law, remain unaffected.

If an external email service (e.g. Resend, Inc.) is used for delivery, this is done on the basis of a data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Details of the provider used will be added here once delivery is in production (TODO).

This website uses the Geist typeface via the built-in next/font system. The font files are bundled locally at build time and served from the same server as the rest of the site. There is no access to Google Fonts or a comparable third-party CDN; in particular, no IP address is transmitted to Google when the font is loaded.

You have the right at any time to obtain information about your personal data stored with me (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR), and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

If processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is in particular that of the federal state in which I am established.

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser bar.

Further development of the website or changed legal or official requirements may make it necessary to adapt this privacy policy. The current version can be retrieved on this page at any time.
